Creating an Ideal Program Image | Frequent Buyer, Astro Offers, & Sharing The Love

The key here is to look at Astro Loyalty as the stage on which your program is standing upon. How you will be viewed by your audience depends on how well you present yourself on this stage. Here's some tips to help you get started!

Who is Able to See Your Images?

The Image that you submit will be both retailer-facing and consumer-facing. Please take all of this into consideration when designing your image:

NOTE: Bounce Back Coupon and Astro Coupon images are not displayed on the flyer pages mentioned below and will only appear in the email sent to pet owners who qualify for the coupon. 
  1. Your Program Image will appear to the retailer when they enroll in the program.


  1. It will appear on the retailer’s My Astro Landing Page when they share it with their customers. 

  1. On your brand’s My Webpage Flyer, on Astro’s Brands on Astro Flyer Page


  1. It will be in the Brand Media Library in our Astro Marketing Suite - from there, retailers can add your image to their Email/SMS/App/Facebook Campaigns, as well as post it directly to their Instagram and Facebook timelines.
    1. Remember, if an image is posted directly to social media it will not automatically include your program's description - so the image needs to be able to stand alone as a marketing tool.


Your image must be able to convey basic information about your Program while also working well for Social Media sharing and posting.

Soon, you will be able to update your default program image directly in Astro without having to submit one to an Astro Team Member to attach to the program for you.

Currently, you can use My Image Assets to add additional images to the retailers' Brand Media Library (Refer to webinar recording below for more information).

Astro's Image Requirements to Ensure Your Image Presents Well on All Astro Pages & Platforms

  1. Square
  2. PNG
  3. 1080x1080 pixel minimum (extremely important so it doesn't pixelate when shared to social media)
  4. Include an Astro Loyalty logo that relates to the type of program your image is to be paired with
    1. Frequent Buyer Logo
    2. Astro Offer Logo
    3. Sharing the Love Logo (these logos can be used for both Adoption Reward Programs and Bounce Back Coupons)
    4. We will also accept a standard Astro Logo if you feel it better suits your design.
  5. Include products that are a part of the program
  6. Include text that explains the gist of what the program is offering
    1. Frequent Buyer = Buy X Get 1 Free
    2. Astro Offer = Buy X Get Y Free / Buy X Get $ Off Y / $Off Y / Etc.
    3. Sharing the Love Adoption Program = Free [product] for Adopted [species] (or some variation thereof)
    4. Sharing the Love Bounce Back Coupon = $Off Y
  1. Optional: Include pets enjoying the products (think social media share-ability)
  2. Optional for Bounce Back Coupon:
    1. Include a small print disclaimer at the bottom of your image. Suggested copy - "Coupon issued via the Astro Mobile App after new pet parent redeems ‘Sharing The Love’ Adoption Bundle containing [brand name] from their local pet store. Redeem at the same pet store within 30-days." Feel free to adjust or shorten.
    2. Add a "Welcome Home" or "Happy Adoption/Gotchya Day" message.
